SLP–Street Legal Performance has had a close relationship with GM for a number of years. SLP added the features to the 1996-2002 SS Camaros and that made them an SS. Now in 2012 they are making 250 of the Camaro ZL600s. SLP will be adding a supercharger plus a host of other upgrades including: internals of the engine, transmission, chassis, suspension, brakes, wheels, tires, and the exterior and internal trim. The top of the line ZL600 costs approx. $85,000. Oh yeah, the 600 in the ZL600 stands for 600 hp.

There are several companies that offer the same type of muscled up Camaro. What makes the SLP ZL600 so very unique and special is that it only can be bought through a Chevy dealership and carries a 5 year/100,000 mile warranty. I’m betting that each and every one of the 250 ZL600s has already been spoken for and those buyers probably paid a substantial premium.

Do not mistake the SLP Camaro ZL600 for the ZL1 Camaro. The ZL600 is here now and the ZL1 will be released until some time late 2012.

It takes about 2 minutes into the video before it gets to the SLP Camaro ZL600.
