KENT and TRUDY DINNHAUPT’S COBRA

Several Several years ago Kent was in the business of selling and building Classic Roadster Kit Cars. In 1992 Kent built this stunning Cobra as a show and go shop car. As stunning as the Cobra is the most interesting thing about the car is the engine. The engine is a Ford 358 c.i. , 550 hp NASCAR engine. It was built in 1992 by the same shop that supplied engines to Alan Kulwicki’s NASCAR team that won the Winston Cup championship that year. The Dinnhaupts drive the Cobra on the street all the time and the only problem they have is finding the high octane racing fuel the engine requires. For any of you local Knoxville Tn. folks you can get racing fuel at the Pilot station at the intersection of Northshore and Pellissippi Pkwy
