Oh GREAT WAKES it’s WHITNEY

Fortunately for me Great Wakes was one of the sponsors for Smokin the Water because; Whitney is one of their employees. If they hadn’t she might not have been there. Great Wakes is a boating company located in Lenoir City, Tn and is the Knoxville metro area Malibu/Axis boat sales and service center. Whitney is posing with Ron Letsinger’s 1964 Impala convertible; more on the convertible in the next story. In addition to working at Great Wakes Whitney is a student at the University of Tennessee.

This car belongs to Ron Letsinger of Kingston, Tn.—kind of. The story Ron told me was that he bought the car from the original owners and has not titled it yet; thinking that the car will be worth more if the next owner will be buying the car from the original owner. Good luck Ron. The car has a 327c.i./300hp engine with a power glide transmission. The paper work shows that original owner traded a 1957 Bel Air convertible for the car. I hope this shows up on the picture. The Impala is in pristine condition. The only thing that makes the Impala look better is Whitney behind the wheel
