I had plenty of material for a great article and I was dog tired. I decided it was time to head home. If I had gone out the front door I would have missed them. But I decided to get a cup of coffee and a hamburger to go at from the concession stand which was located towards the back of the building.  At that same time Tammy and her husband were just arriving with their Dodge drag car through the rear door.

And there they were, Tammy’s Pretty In Pinks. I dropped my gear, got my camera and just started taking pictures. After several pictures I introduced myself to Tammy and her husband. They both said sure and I continued to snap away. I guess I was so taken by Tammy’s Pretty In Pinks that I didn’t get any pictures of their car. Which ,as it turned out, was super great because it lead me to whole ‘nother article: 2011 Saturday Night at English Mt. Dragway featuring Tamma Jamma. To be on your computer screen soon. I’ll explain then.

Most of the pictures here were taken when Tammy was cleaning the car. After the cleaning was done Tammy told me to wait just a minute so she could get herself together. It was a surreal moment for me. Tammy went from Pretty In Pinks to Very Pretty,Pretty In Pinks.

It was a jaw dropping experience both when I first saw the car and then again when I saw the beautiful detail work.  The major components and mods for the car are listed in a picture in the gallery. I will say one thing 625 H.P./615 LBS of naturally aspirated power. The Cuda, John and son Phillip came in from Minnesota.

Greg is owner/operator of Mountain Muscle. He made a definite point to tell me that Mountain Muscle doesn’t build trailer queens; they restore cars for people to drive and enjoy.

Greg was a very quiet, unassuming person. He didn’t want any publicity on this day it was the club’s day. He spent about 45 minute with me showing me some of the more significant cars at the show. Actually one of the nicest cars at the show was Greg’s wife’s car a ’71 numbers matching Dodge Demon. The Demon came from the factory with a 340 c.i. and just about every option that could have been available.

Not to be confused with Pretty in Pink in anyway. Carolyn Finnel and husband Terry brought their ’08 Dodge Challenger SRT in from Cleveland Tn. The Finnel’s have added an aftermarket cold air kit and exhaust plus a Predator tune. Carolyn stated they love all cars, they even have Vette in their email address, but their true love is MOPAR.
